Academic Programs Jamia Tus Salehat
The Academic program of Jamea-tus-slaehat is very unique and distinct. Although the sole purpose for the existence of Jamea-tus-Salehat is to provide Islamic Education to Muslim girls, many useful subjects of modern learning are also available for its students. The curriculum of various courses of different classes at Jamea-tus-Salehat is prepared with the help of prominent Ulama and educational experts. The academic program at Jamea-tus-Salehat is a rare blend of Islamic and modern learning, designed to make Muslim girls meet modern challenges to Islamic norms.
The academic program at Jamea-tus-Salehat is divided in three stages:
1. Primary and Secondary level Course
Combined course with a maximum duration of ten (10) years Course
- Fundamentals of Islamic Faith
- Basic Grammar and Arabic Language
- Other Religious Subjects
- Modern regular Secular Subjects
2. Alimiyyat
Duration four (4) years Course
- Study of Our'an text and commentaries
- Ahadith
- Principles of Ahadith
- Islamic Jurisprudence
- Principles of Islamic Jurisprudence
- History of Islam
- World History.
- Humanities
- Social Sciences
3. Fazilat
Duration two (2) years Course
- Advance Islamic Studies
- The Qur'an and Ahadith provide the main body of Islamic education. Jamea-tus-Salehat has a specially designed methodology to teach Our'an and Ahadith for maximum impact.
- Arabic is taught at the master language so that the students can have access to Our'an, Ahadith and other original sources of Islamic learning.
A dedicated department of Arabic language has been established at James-tus-Salehat. This department is being run under the guidance of the head of the department. The reason behind establishing this separate department of Arabic and higher Islamic Studies maintain the dignity and strength of Arabic and Islamic Studies. Under this department the classes of Alimyyat and Fazilat are being taken care. The establishment of this department has further strengthened the studies at this section.
- English language is also taught at Jamea-tus-Salehat as an international language.
An ever increasing impact of computers on every day life is well appreciated at Jamea-tus-Salehat. Computer education is compulsory for students of Jamea¬tus-Salehat. A computer lab is available at Jamea for training its students. A very comprehensive course is being taught to the students here. This course gives them the capabilities of DTP, Web Designing, Graphic Designing, and Office Secretarial Work Skills. Jamea has also made these courses available to those Muslim students of the town who are not the regular students of Jamea but wish to have the knowledge of computer and they take these courses as their part-time course.
B.B.A. and B.C.A. Courses at Jamea
Recently Jamea has made a MOU with a well known and a leading Central University of the country i.e. Jamia Hamdard. Jamia Hamdard has granted permission to Jamea-tus-Salehat for running BBA (Bachelor of Business Administration) and BCA (Bachelor of Computer Application) Courses. Conducting examination, designing and providing syllabus, granting admission to the applicants by scrutinizing and judging as per the criteria is the responsibility of Jamia Hamdarad. Jamea–tus- Salehat will provide all other facilities like teachers, computer labs, and other pertinent materials to run these courses in its study centre.
